Reading together is always a special time, and it’s even more special when you’re sharing a book that’s helping your child learn something new. There are all sorts of fun and engaging alphabet books out there, from books that teach the letters through rhyming verses to books that feature adorable animals.Īlphabet books can also be a great way for parents and caregivers to bond with their little ones. And they don’t have to be boring, either! Alphabet BooksĪlphabet books are a great way to help preschoolers and kindergarteners learn their letters. Strengthen visual discrimination skills as they search among the letters to find the featured ones. They’ll strengthen fine motor skills gripping the dot marker. Then, have kids use a bingo dauber/dot marker to identify the featured letters.

With this box, encourage kids to name the letters, say their beginning sounds, and then trace the letters with their preferred writing utensil. In the top left corner of each page, there is an uppercase and lowercase letter. Each of the 26 pages included in this packet is designed the same way so once you’ve used one, your kids can settle into a pattern with subsequent pages.
